This website has been designed to adhere closely to the W3C's guidelines for webstandards. However in order for us to show enhanced Flash content such as the panorama images, the Flash tour and the top navigation system we have opted to include these elements to add to the overall experience of the site. In order for the navigation to work if the user does not have Flash installed we have doubled up the navigation on the left hand side of the page. We also have incorporated a javascript 'sniffer' that shows alternative content for users that do not have Flash and also for us to maintain W3C 'A' standards. Where possible we have developed the site to adhere to AA accessibility.
We have also built in accessibility functions to the Flash navigation menu enabling tabbing of the menus and readibility by screen readers.
